blown away
Have you ever wanted to say something and the words escape you? I am having that moment right now. I woke up this morning with the hubby before he went to work. Got up, went downstairs, set up the coffee maker and made some coffee. I walked over to my laptop and fired it up so I could get the info I needed for paypal. Let the coffee make itself and told the hubby that the paypal thing needed to be done. Got that taken care of and came back downstairs. Grabbed my cup of coffee and checked out my vox. That is when I became speechless and blown away. I am at an absolute loss of words to describe things. This is unusual for me because well, I write. I can usually come up with the right words for a situation. This time they escape me. Why am I at a loss for words you ask? Well, it is because of my skirt. The skirt from the lovely Miss Haze. I had messages letting me know about it. One that it was in the process of being painted and then I had another saying it was done.
My skirt by the lovely Miss Haze is absolutely amazing. I just can not believe how wonderful it looks. The progression from start to finish just made my jaw drop even more. There are not words to describe just how excited I am about the skirt. When she let me know that it was done I immediately went over and took a look at the page. I have seen her lovely work before and know just how wonderful an artist and designer she really is. I am just floored by what she did with this skirt. I am so looking forward to putting this on and taking pictures.
This made my whole day. Thank you from the very bottom of my little penguin heart. :)

I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to you receiving your skirt, rouma. And more -- to see photos of you wearing it.
Thanks for so much love and appreciation. It truly touches me because it is so rare for me, as an artist & designer, to really know how my work impacts the recipient. I really had fun working on your skirt and truly enjoyed sharing the process with you.
Your skirt passed the wash test with flying color and she is down in the dryer now. Once that is done I will iron the skirt, once again, to help insure durability of the paint. Then she'll be on her way to you.
Of course I will message you when she has actually left the building.
You will get tons of pictures of me in the skirt. As well as some with the hubby and me while I am wearing it. :)
I'm glad she passed the wash test with flying colors. I didn't have a doubt that she wouldn't though.
*hug*
