What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Pistachio Almond. It reminds me of my dad. It was my dad that gave me my first Pistachio Almond and I was hooked. When I was little we would go to Thrifty's and get a scoop. It is very yummy. Love that green ice cream. :)

Which band or artist which is no longer performing or alive would you have loved to have seen?
Submitted by Rev Stan.
The band/music artist i would have loved to see: Johnny Cash. I've always loved his music. When I was little I would bug to hear him.
The actor I would have loved to meet that has passed away, I would have to say Vincent Price.
Artist? This is a very tough one. Like Abject I really like Dali but there are also other artist I like. M.C. Escher would probably be the other one I would pick at this time.
What were you doing one year ago today?
Submitted by CassandraMorgan.
I believe that I was getting ready to go to the Desktop Linux Summit in San Diego. The hubby and I were driving down early so we could spend some time with my mom/sis/sis bf/uncle/friends. It was also getting ready to go clubbing in SoCal that I had been missing so much. Then we were working at the conference.
and as for the answer to this from the lovely Lilia my very first concert was: the motels. it was at the universal amphitheater in socal. i believe i was 11 or 12. i went with my uncle and we met up with 2 of his friends there. i remember that martha davis came out after a tiny break and was singing about 2 rows away from us. i also remember being offered a joint and saying no thanks. then the girl that offered it to me got really sick all over the place. luckily i had my legs to my chest on the chair i was in. *giggle* i've been to many concerts since. i should really write out all the bands i have seen sometime. :)
What's something you should throw away, but can't?
Honestly, the box of things I got from a certain ex-bf. I just can't get myself to get rid of it. It is rather silly to keep it but I do. It is at my mom's so that is good. But I still own it.
Who taught you how to cook?
Submitted by Donna.
Actually, it was more than one person. I was taught how to cook by my father, mother and her mother. I can't say I am that good of a cook but I try. :)
What were you afraid of as a child that seems silly to you now?
Submitted by navelgazer.
It seems really silly to me, but, I am still scared of it. That is the movie "Phantasm". Even if I only see the spine of the dvd box it is in I end up freezing and getting all creeped out. My friends have threatened to put me in a chair and force me to watch it again to get over the fear. It just hasn't happened... I've been too quick for them to catch me. *giggle*
What's your favorite kind of Girl Scout cookie?
Submitted by My Lovely One.
I shouldn't have any and I haven't had any in forever. My favorite kind are the chocolate peanut butter patty ones. Hell, I don't even know if they still make those. I do know that back when I would get them the box would barely last 2 days. *giggles* I know, that's horrid.
What's your method for calculating a tip?
Well sometimes I go all Steve Buscemi if the person is an ass. But for the most part, i just double the amount of the tax and add a buck. Yes, I know it's weird but my aunt taught me that. If the person wasn't a total ass but was still a pain i just add a dollar to the tip. So, those are my methods. :)
ok, off to write my tush off for NaNoWriMo :)

Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
All of my computers save one run Linux in one form or another. I am using Debian Unstable on the laptop I am writing this on. I used to be a windows girl until I was shown Linux. I only have Windows on one of the computers due to the lack of good accounting software under Linux.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?
Submitted by abcdefg81.
The realistic dream address is Helena Montana. I love it up there. People who know me well are probably raising their eyebrows at that, but it is true. I really like it out there. For one, it is pretty and for two it makes the hubby happy being there. He says it feels like going home and he's right, it has that type of feel to it. Maybe soonish we will be there. Especially as living in the Bay Area keeps getting more expensive and I don't want to live in a TownHouse all my life. If it didn't cost over 500K to get something bigger than a doghouse here I would stay here.
The unrealistic dream address: Munich. I've always wanted to live in Germany. Even before I married the hubby. :) I do know that I haven't been there ever but I would love to live there. Hopefully next summer I will get there. The hubby and I have said next summer we'll go visit his family there. We shall see :)
